Dr. Fran Tatebe
After completing a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta, Dr. Tatebe graduated from Waterloo with a Doctor in Optometry in 1986. Having grown up in Lethbridge, she returned shortly after graduation to set up her own optometric practice. She has been serving the people of Lethbridge and surrounding area ever since. Coming up on 30 years of experience, Dr. Tatebe knows the profession well and has remained up-to-date in her practice. By providing the best possible care for her patients, she has gained their respect and loyalty as their Optometrist. The good news is that even if you haven’t seen Dr. Tatebe before, she continues to accept new patients. So what are you waiting for?
Dr. Tatiana Cook
Dr. Cook completed her Bachelor of Arts and Science at the University of Lethbridge, and decided to go the “distance” when it came to completing her optometry degree; graduating as an optometrist from the University of Auckland in New Zealand in 2012. Before settling back on home soil, she and her family took the opportunity to live and work in Australia. In September 2014, Dr. Cook finally unpacked her bags back in Lethbridge, and is here to stay! She is excited to serve the people from Southern Alberta for the many years to come.
Dr. Olivia Viergutz
Dr. Viergutz completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Tulsa in 2017, while playing Division 1 soccer for the TU Golden Hurricanes. She continued her education at the University of Waterloo where she earned her Doctor of Optometry in 2021. During her time in Waterloo, she travelled with Canadian Vision Care to provide eye care services in Manila, Philippines and hopes to provide more volunteer services in the future. Throughout her externships she gained a special interest and knowledge in dry eye and pediatric care. After being away from home for her studies for 8 years, Dr. Viergutz is excited to return home to Lethbridge to serve the community where she was born and raised.
